***Autumn Season Announcement II – Dates for October***
This Friday sees the release of Songs of the Meteorologist on Bandcamp*! On Friday 3rd October you can buy the beautiful 2021 recording of the songs made by Opera Workshop and performed by the inimitable Roisín Walsh (soprano) and irreplaceable Markus Kraeber! More details in a separate post.
Two lunchtime concerts will feature my work later in the month. Tríona Walsh and Dr Yonit Kosovske bring their ‘A Woman’s life and love’ recital to the The Irish World Academy of Music & Dance in UL at 1.15pm on Thursday 23rd October. Sarah Ellen Murphy will perform two of my Songs from Kate O’Brien (but which two – you’ll have to come along to find out!) at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on Wednesday 29th October at 1.10pm. She is accompanied by Pádraig Wallace.

*This is the first time in over a decade that I have sold recordings of my music and the landscape has changed a lot since then. I chose Bandcamp for this release as the majority of proceeds go directly to the artist and on Free Fridays (such as this Friday) ALL proceeds go to the artist. It is a far fairer distribution platform than the streaming platforms where the artists get next to nothing.
