Fiona Linnane is a highly sought after teacher of piano, theory and choir. She has been teaching in various capacities for the last 16 years, including as part of the faculty at the acclaimed Croagh School of Music, County Limerick.
As a piano teacher her delivery of fun, interesting lessons, while challenging her students, has ensured their progress and given them a love of music under her tutelage.
As a peripatetic music teacher in a Primary Schools setting Fiona has delivered instrumental group lessons for all ages. She spent ten years teaching recorder to Primary school students in County Limerick and her students were recipients of RIAM High Achiever Awards for their Primary School Recorder examinations.
She has facilitated composition workshops as part of the Artists in Schools projects with Limerick, Tipperary and Clare Arts Offices and is a busy piano accompanist for concerts, ceremonies and music exams.
Fiona is a music examiner with the Royal Irish Academy of Music since 2012.
